Seek God With All Your Heart – Part 2
In Part 1 of Seek God With All Your Heart we saw that what is in your heart is very important. You are God’s first love, and treasure, and passion. Now He wants to be your First Love, and your Treasure, and your Passion.
God wants you to love Him more than anything or anyone else, just as He loves you. And God wants you to value Him and treasure Him more than anything or anyone else. And God wants you to be passionate about Him, and the things He is passionate about.

God Wants to be Your First Love, Your Treasure, Your Passion
When God is your First Love, our Treasure, and our Passion, then you will seek God with all your heart. Paul was a very faithful and passionate servant of Jesus, and is a good example for us to follow. He was so devoted to Jesus that he was able to go through anything for Him, even suffering and dying for Jesus.
“I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish that I may gain Christ… And I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection…” – Paul (Philippians 3:7-11)

Seek God With All Your Heart
Make God and His Kingdom Work & Mission As Your Top Priority
Matthew 6:33 is a very important verse. Matthew Chapter 6 describes what most people naturally seek after. At the end of the chapter God tells us that our top priority needs to be seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.
Seek first God’s kingdom is to place God’s kingdom work and mission as a top priority in your life. Seek first for God’s righteousness is to place your relationship and fellowship with God as another top priority in your life. God wants them to be your top priorities because they are God’s top priorities.
Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Acts 17:26-27 – “He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.”
Hebrews 11:6 – “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
