Genesis 17 vs 19

And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

God chose a name for the first man, who he called Adam.
God did a naming ceremony for Abram and called his new name Abraham.
God did a naming ceremony for Sarai and gave her a new name Sarah.
God also gave a name to Abraham’s unborn child and said he would be called Isaac.
Names have physical and spiritual meanings.
Allow God to supervise your naming ceremony.

Prayers

God, give me a new name.
My names manifest their physical and spiritual meanings in Jesus’ name.
