It's All About Love - Jewell Utt

1 John 4:7 says, “Love one another.” For me, May is the month of love. It’s my wedding anniversary and the month we filed to make Community Blend an official nonprofit. This is a special time of year where Passion, Purpose and Promise come alive and everything seems possible. Challenges are no longer an obstacle, but an exciting new journey. And it all begins with love.

Love looks outside of self and inspires us anew: to help, to provide, to serve, to learn, to grow, and to yield. This is the heart of Community Blend; to provide a place for people to gather and grow.

  • The cafe offers specialty coffee, snacks and books while providing a place to work remotely, gather with friends, or read quietly.
  • Weekly programs include Bible studies, book clubs, discussion groups, a mom’s meet, and hobby groups.
  • Monthly, we host an awareness series that includes topics such as scams, abuse, opioids, finances, aging issues, brain functions, etc… And a women’s potluck that provides a way to meet, share and build relationships with other women in the community.

Upcoming Programs:

**The Community Blend cafe’ will be closed the week of June 21-24 for VBS at The Chapel.
