With stock, gold, silver, and bitcoin prices at or near all-time highs, you might feel that you missed the boat. Human psychology will either make you want to go all in or stay completely out, which is generally a bad idea. If you’re in these assets now, it’s a little easier to have a balanced view, but there’s still a strong temptation to be extreme. The Bible speaks to these fears and advises you to be diversified.
As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well. -Ecclesiastes 11:5-6

The passage also speaks to not understanding exactly how or why things grow. Don’t let fear or laziness keep you from investing; and when you invest, be diversified! If you don’t know, learn about these investment classes and decide for yourself if and how much you should invest in them. Dollar cost averaging is a safer way to purchase any investment, especially volatile assets like silver or Bitcoin.

Honestly, I don’t know for sure. The better question is: Is it ever too late to be diversified? Should you have cash? Yes (preferably earning interest). Should you have other investments? Yes. But if you’ve ignored stocks, precious metals, or Bitcoin*, don’t continue to ignore them.
*Please note that with Bitcoin, it is a relatively new asset, and has regularly seen 80% price drawdowns, so be very careful and keep your allocation in line with your risk tolerance.
What Is Going On Here?
The process [of inflation] engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose. -John Maynard Keynes discussing the subject of inflation Essays in Persuasion, first published in “The Economic Consequences of the Peace” (Nov. 1919).
Inflation is insidious. At low levels, it is hard to detect. At higher levels, when people become aware of it, they cannot understand the root cause of it. At hyper levels, it becomes absolutely devastating.
It is my strong opinion that we (as an entire planet) are experiencing high inflation of our currencies. We may have deflationary scares here and there (think 2001, 2008, 2020), but governments and central banks have proven they will keep inflating the money supply, which produces more inflation. Inflation drives up all prices, especially asset prices.
