How to Heal a Cripple (Kid Friendly True Story) - Kids in Ministry International

Can children really heal the sick? Yes, they can! Children can do anything that Jesus said they could, when they’re trained and equipped to do so.

And that’s what we do in this ministry, Kids in Ministry International. we equip the little saints to do the works of Jesus. That’s what we all need to be doing. Parents, kids ministers, pastors, church leaders– all of us together.

Doubt and Unbelief of Adults

Now the truth is, the biggest hindrance to children operating in the supernatural gospel is the doubt and unbelief of the adults in their lives.

Heidi Baker said children have keys to the kingdom. They are more trusting than adults. Children believe in miracles until they’re taught by some adult that believing in things unseen is silliness.

A four-year-old child in any culture has faith for miracles. Then along comes some adult and teaches them not to believe! Wow! Now if you can’t say, “Oh, man!” say, “Oh, me!”

Listen. I struggle with doubts like everybody else, at times. Not everyone I pray for gets healed. But I learned years ago not to let my own personal doubts keep me from teaching children that they can do greater things than even Jesus if they have faith.

Mark 16:15-19 says, “They that believe will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.” Not preachers that believe or adults that believe or anyone over 21 that believes. If a child as young as two or three years old believes, they can do what Jesus said all believers can do.

A Boy who healed the Sick

Now I promised to tell you the story of a little boy in Zambia who was healed of bone cancer when his little brother prayed for him.

Now this happened to my PowerClub leaders, Eva and David Kibinda, in Zambia. This couple started out seriously doubting that God could ever
use kids to do anything significant. But they went ahead. They went through our training. And they just decided, “Well, let’s just go ahead and give it a try.”

So, they started teaching from our curriculums, and the kids in their
Church, and, of course, their own two children were involved in that. And their oldest son was five at the time. And he was scheduled to have his leg amputated because of bone cancer.

Bu, one day Eva heard her little boy hollering in another room in their house. And she ran in to see what was going on. And the little guy was laying hands on his brother, shouting, “Be healed in the name of Jesus! Be healed in the name of Jesus!” And she thought it was cute but didn’t think any more of it.

But, later that week, they went back to the doctor, who examined the sick child, and said, “Hmm. I don’t think we need to amputate his leg, after all. But he is going to have to use crutches the rest of his life.”

So, a few weeks later, Eva heard her little boy yelling again. So, she ran into the room and said, “What’s going on in here?” And the little brother said, “Mommy, go away. You don’t know what’s happening here.”

So, she stood back and began to watch him as he would hold his brother’s crutches out in front of him, just a step or two out of his brother’s hand grasp away from his brother, and he and he would say, “Walk, in the name of Jesus! Walk, in the name of Jesus!

And his brother would try taking this short step and reach out for those crutches. And when he did, the little brother just took another step
Backwards, and said again, “Walk, in the name of Jesus!”

Well, the older boy would try and reach for the crutches, but his little brother would just keep taking steps backwards. They kept doing this all day long, and finally, at the end of the day, the crippled boy could walk without his crutches, and he’s never used them since!

And that’s just one of the many testimonies we have of children who can
heal the sick when they’re trained to do so by the adults in their lives.
