2 Timothy 2 vs 26

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

  1. When you study the verses preceding this verse, the Bible lists things that can make a man be taken captive by the devil, which are: Youthful lust, Disobedience, and many more.
  2. Once you are not walking with God, you are walking with the devil.
  3. Do not negotiate with the devil. The devil is not your friend. He takes people captive.
  4. Anytime you put yourself into sin, you are making yourself capturable by the devil.
  5. The Bible says that we should abstain from every appearance of sin.
  6. Anytime you open up to sin, you are opening yourself to captivity by the devil.
  7. Do not allow the devil to hold you captive.
  8. May the name of Jesus Christ set you free in Jesus’ name. Amen.
