Look at things through a lens of faith.

Good day, beautiful people.
I hope that this post meets you and your loved ones well? Today’s post has been inspired by the passage Numbers 32:12.
Numbers 32:12 ~ “The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun, for they have wholeheartedly followed the Lord.”
^^^Caleb and Joshua wholeheartedly followed God.
Pursuing the Lord genuinely involves trusting in God even when things seem impossible or seem like they will not work out. It involves obeying God and leaving the consequences to Him.
For context:
Numbers 32:8-11 ~ “Your ancestors did the same thing when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to explore the land. After they went up to the valley of Eshcol and explored the land, they discouraged the people of Israel from entering the land the Lord was giving them. Then the Lord was very angry with them, and he vowed, ‘Of all those I rescued from Egypt, no one who is twenty years old or older will ever see the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, for they have not obeyed me wholeheartedly.”
From the above scriptural passages, one can note that only two individuals who scouted the promised land came back with a good report. The others (ten to be precise) spread a bad report throughout the community of Israel, leading to most of the community not entering into the promised land because of a lack of faith. During my personal devotion, it dawned on me the importance of seeing things from the lens of God rather than viewing things from man’s perspective.
I pray that you are able to remain hopeful in the midst of adversity, acknowledging the fact that God is faithful and that He will never abandon you. Most importantly, know that He loves you so much that He came into the world that He created to save you from the power of sin.
Even when things go from bad to worse, don’t lose sight of the word of God and do not give into sin; rather, continue to declare the word of God over your mind so that you do not fall prey to the devil‘s lies. Satan will try to discourage you, but as believers, we are to find joy in our relationship with Christ Jesus. Remember that his grace is sufficient for you and that with Christ, we are more than conquerors.
2 Corinthians 12:9 ~ “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
Romans 8:35-37 ~ “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”
Stay blessed
