For 250 years, America has stood as a beacon of freedom! Its founding was established on the true source of freedom; which is the Word of God.
The Bible says:
2 Corinthians 3:17 NIV
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
The founding fathers didn't just run from tyranny; they ran to truth and built a foundation on the rock of Jesus Christ! It's no accident that we got here; it is the design of heaven that men should live free under the authority of Heaven. It's in that state of submission and surrender that we are truly free.
We are one nation under God!
The sober reality that we face in this dawn of 250 is the crisis of the memory of the nation; we've forgotten where our freedom came from! If we continue to assume this freedom was an accident or was formed by our own wisdom, we will continue this slide into depravity and ultimate captivity.
But, my prayer is that God would send another great awakening across this land! My prayer is for believers in every church in America to turn to Christ and begin living out their faith with boldness! To declare the good news of salvation and life through Jesus!
The Cross is the source of our nation’s freedom! It is the rock we must return to and build the next 250 years! I have great hope for a thriving America because I see the preacher’s pulpit on fire once again!
